Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. To be honest, breakfast is the meal I skip the most but I try to have breakfast when possible. Eggs are probably one of the most common breakfast dishes in all parts of the world. They are so versatile, that they can be made into various forms and cooked in numerous ways. Omelettes are a favorite of many, and can be made using a plethora of different add on’s to make it delicious.A hearty and healthy breakfast, this cheese and veggie omelette should set you up for a productive day.
Cheese omelette slices
Coriander leaves – 1tbsp
Tomato – 1
Red chili flakes-1tsp
1)Firstly, cut up some onions finely along with some coriander leaves, green chilies and tomatoes. Then add these in a bowl.
2)In another bowl, add 3 eggs and beat them with a fork while holding the bowl at an angle. Then add some cream and beat it again. Now add this to the bowl with the veggies. Season with some salt and pepper and red chili flakes. Mix well.
3)Now on a pan, heat up some oil at medium heat. Once hot, pour the egg mixture to the pan and spread around evenly in case it doesn’t flow by itself. Cover the pan with a lid. Let it cook for about 5 minutes.
4)Once the base is cooked and the heat has traveled upwards of the omelette, add the grated pepperjack cheese and some freshly ground pepper as well. 5)Cover the pan again for a few minutes and then put the omelette on a board with the help of a spatula or it will just slide off the pan if its a good pan and you greased the pan well with oil. Cut it into 4 slices and serve with your favorite dipping sauces. Enjoy! 🙂
