Keema Parathas

{Recipe}
Buttered Keema parathas
INGREDIENTS:
Ground beef- 450gms/1pound
Salt
Pepper
Red chili powder-1tsp Cumin powder-1/2tsp
Coriander powder-1/2tsp
Garam masala powder-1tsp
Onion-1
Minced garlic – 1tbsp
Ginger powder/fresh ginger-1/2tsp
Red chili flakes – 1tbsp
Red wine vinegar – 1tsp
Coriander leaves-2tbsps
Wheat flour-2 cups
Water
Oil
PREPARATION:
1)In a bowl, add the ground beef, then add salt, pepper, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, ginger powder and mix well.
2)Then, finely chop up an onion and some coriander leaves and then add this to the mixture. Mix well again.
3)Then on a pan, add some oil. Once hot, add the red chili flakes and minced garlic. Sauté till it turns golden brown. Then add the beef and onion mixture and sauté for about 10-15 minutes till the beef and onions are cooked. Add some red wine vinegar as well(optional). Keep it aside and let it cool.
4)Now to make the dough, add 2 cups of flour to another bowl along with half a teaspoon of salt and about a 1.5 teaspoon of oil. Mix with your hand and with the other hand, add little water at regular intervals and kneading the dough at the same time till you get the required consistency and a smooth dough ball mixture with no cracks.
5)Make equal sized balls(little bigger than a golf ball)  from the dough mixture. Then take one of them and press them with your hand to make it flat. Use the wheat flour on your hands or the board to avoid any stickiness and to make sure that there is no moistness anywhere. Get a rolling pin and roll it into a normal sized paratha. Then take some of your cooled down beef mixture and add it to the center of the flat dough. Make sure you don’t add a lot as it might break.
6)Then fold over the sides or corners (depending on your shape) towards the center and cover the filling with it. Then roll it again with the rolling pan into a circle preferably. (Even if the shape is odd, use a circle cutter to get your desired shape). Fry on the pan with butter/oil till it turns golden brown on both sides. Serve with your favorite sides. Enjoy! 🙂
